Mission
Unity Project is a collective of humans seeking to dismantle individual and systemic biases through education, service, and singing.
We believe we can create a diverse community of singers through deliberate education, dialogue, repertoire selection, and events. As we strengthen our community of singers, we will also serve our larger community through music, outreach, partnerships, and EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) training. We seek to minimize the performative aspect of singing and focus on music as a tool to create connection. Our vision for how we serve and work in the community is intentionally open so as to keep the needs of our community partners at the forefront. We value creativity and hope we always stay open to the variety of ways we can serve as the needs of our community shift.
